Cicero Z van Paemel × Sissi (Sandro) — Belgian Warmblood, 2009
Bred by Luc Van Eeckhoudt and Karin Verdeyen at the renowned Stoeterij Van Paemel in Belgium, Jaguar van Paemel is a grey Belgian Warmblood stallion who combines breathtaking athleticism with unmistakable elegance. Approved by Zangersheide in 2012 — where the jury described him as one of their best stallions — Jaguar has proven himself as both a formidable competitor and an exceptional sire.
Standing 17.2 hands, Jaguar possesses an expressive head and refined exterior that immediately commands attention. Over fences, he displays limitless scope paired with outstanding technique — quick with his front legs, beautiful bascule, and exceptional use of his hind end. His movement is elastic, balanced, and ground-covering with a particularly stunning canter.
Imported to California in March 2019 after a distinguished European career, Jaguar now stands at stud in the United States. He is Warmblood Fragile Foal Syndrome (WFFS) double negative and lives happily in a family setting, known for his sweet and joyous personality — kept easily without electric wires or bars, alongside dogs, children, and nearby mares.

Jaguar's sire, Cicero Z van Paemel (Carthago Z x Randel Z), was the foundation stallion of Stoeterij Van Paemel and one of the most influential jumping sires of his generation. Competing at the highest level under Dirk Demeersman, Cicero won the Grand Prix of Aalst, the Sires of the World in Mechelen, and the Six Bars in Dublin over 2m05. Ranked 35th in the WBFSH Sire Ranking with over 2,000 offspring and more than 100 jumping at 1.50m, he was one of the most-used stallions in the world.
Jaguar is often described as the luxury version of his father — inheriting Cicero's limitless scope and textbook technique, but adding longer legs, more blood, and an even more refined elegance. Where Cicero was raw power, Jaguar channels that same force with a fluid grace and dignified stride that is uniquely his own. Both share the gentle, trusting temperament that defines the Van Paemel line.
Over 100 FEI starts across Belgium and France under Dirk Demeersman and Aldrick Cheronnet, reaching 1.60m. Second place at the 6-year-old Belgian Championships in 2015.
Approved by Zangersheide in 2012. Also BWP, AHS, Hanoverian Verband, Rhineland, Westfalen, and AES — seven registries in total.
Quick front legs, beautiful bascule, powerful hind end, balanced elastic movement, and scope to spare. A big stride that covers ground with dignified grace.

He is possibly the best jumping stallion I've seen imported into the US in the past decade.
Jaguar has phenomenal technique and a beautiful style with scope to spare. He has a big stride, and moves across the ground with a dignified grace.
Otis Blue is really nice to flat, and he has a lot of blood jumping. He has a lot of talent.
I like Jaguar a lot because he is big, powerful, and fantastic looking — with a great canter and huge jump. Most importantly he has a very nice temperament.
Jaguar passes on his hallmark traits — power, scope, beauty, elastic movement, and exceptional temperament — with remarkable consistency. His semen quality is outstanding.
